Turning Japanese

Okay, maybe that's not politically correct. But I watched "The Last Samauri" this weekend, and now I want to be Japanese.

I love how they are so gentle and precise. Yet so reverential of the Earth. I love how they live. Or lived. I'm sure our super awesome Western influence has seeped in to their once pure culture. We do that sort of thing, you know.

That movie was beautiful. I'd love to visit Japan and see all that first hand. I'm sure they need missionaries, since Buddhism is prevalent there.

And I have a small movie star crush on Ken Watanabe.

It was a nice way to spend an evening. And I want to live there now. Or maybe I want to live there in the mid to late 1800's. That would be kinda hard. Maybe I'll just visit Japan. That would be easiest...

I knew you'd love it! SO beautiful....now you have to watch Memoirs of a Geisha, to go with the oriental theme. It's even more tear-jerky and gorgeous.
