A quick 4th

Jude started out the day with his first ever guitar lesson!

Zane insisted on having his hair just like Daddy... (Well, before Daddy's last hair cut.)

Jude rocked the spiky look too.

See, they do look alike...

Allen called it "Birds A Million" We thought that was hilarious. Daddy is the funniest person we know!

It was bright after that dark theater!

Allen had to play on the afternoon of the Fourth, so we knew our time was limited. We decided to let Full Moon BBQ do the cooking for us for lunch, and that's one of our favorite places to eat anyway. SO good. After that, we ran a few errands, then hit the movie theater to take in a flick! We hadn't seen "Kung Fu Panda," so we decided to see that. It was absolutely hilarious, and I really liked it. We all did! Zane tried hard to hang in there, and after a good thirty minutes of talking to the screen (Think, "uh oh!" and "Look, Ma!") and eating popcorn, he conked out in my lap. I'm sure the people in front of us were thankful for that.

We wanted to go swimming, but we just didn't have enough time. We came home and puttered around the house while Allen went to work. I was hoping Laney would stay awake to see the fireworks on television, but she was asleep before they came on. Zane, on the other hand, was plenty rested after his late nap, so he and I enjoyed some late night quality time together!

I'm hoping next year we can take in some fireworks. Since Zane is absolutely terrified of so much right now, even of the ice cream man, I figured that fire works would be pushing it this year! Next year we'll try it!

It was a good, albeit quick, Fourth! And Ijust have to say, I just love having all of these fun things to do in the great metropolitan city of Alabaster. Makes things so much easier!

WOW - I knew your kids favored each other but it's amazing how much more they look alike in these pictures. Especially the boys. They are all so precious!
