


In March, 1993, we had a real blizzard. Ask anyone who has lived in Birmingham or the surrounding area for more than 15 years, and they will tell you their story of the Blizzard of '93. Birmingham received between 12 and 16 inches of snow, and some areas up to 24 inches. I think we were the 24 inches.
I was living with my dad and stepmom in Pinson. We were snowed in for days with no power. The neighborhood had a blast playing in the snow. It was crazy-a true snowstorm, complete with lightening and thunder.
They say it will never happen again. That's probably a good thing, I guess, but it sure was fun. And pretty.

Thank goodness you didn't get that much snow, but from the news it looks like you got a good bit. Can't wait to talk to you about it.
