Anniversary presents

I wasn't really supposed to get a present, since I finally got my telephoto lens for my camera that I had been wanting for a looong time. (I found a super good deal on one. Better than EBay even...) But, we were in Wal Mart (*snicker*) and something caught my eye, and it was on clearance (double *snicker*). All that aside, it was really perfect. Allen's birthstone is pearl, and mine is diamond. Two years ago, we bought a beautiful pearl and diamond necklace for our 10 year anniversary, and I have always wanted a pearl ring to go with it. And there it was. So it came home with us!!!


Allen's present is much less sentimental, but much for fun for him. Madden '08 came out at midnight on Tuesday night, and after several phone calls, and a quick trip to Wal Mart, he was the proud owner of a new game for his PS3. That's man speak for hours of entertainment!!!!! He happily played a game with Laney and Jude cheering him on. It was great fun for everyone!



Here's to 80 more years with my sweet husband, God willing!
