My house is a wreck

I just said this to Hayes, and she chuckled and said, "Sure it is."

Okay, I know I can be a bit Stepford, but seriously, this is *bad.*

I don't even know where to start. Usually I just click into overdrive, and bust it and get it done. But I don't have an overdrive mode today, and we've been so busy this week that I'm exhausted. Zane is super fussy and the others are high maintenance.

So I'm posting pics to make *you* feel better about your house. Which is, I'm sure, perfectly clean. Dinner is on your table, and you've been a patient and kind mother all day. This is what I tell myself, anyway. :P

Jackie and I did this once. We were having a "fight" about whose clean laundry waiting-to-be-folded pile was bigger. We both sent each other pictures, and I think I won. I laughed so hard, and it made me feel better about *my* pile.

So here's hoping I make your day. I know my mess wins. I just know it does!!

David Crowder and I are off to make a gourmet dinner of turkey dogs and broccoli. Don't you wish you lived here??? :)

Um, I win, b/c my carpet is so covered with clothes you can't even see it. but, i do feel better just seeing that your house gets that messy w/o us there to trash it. ;-)

This made me laugh sooooo hard. Okay, ours has looked a little better lately, but it's only because I no longer have any tiny ones around and we are extremely fanatical aobut getting it looking great in order to sell in about a month. But, if we have one rough day, it looks exactly like yours. Take it slowly--five things, then five things, and before you know it, it'll look great....until the next day.

I know cleaning house is necessary but when mine is a mess I think...which will my child remember in 20 yrs??? A clean house or the time spent messing it up (playing w/mom).

Okay...I do feel a little better seeing another messy house and also better because my "mama" is here and she spent all day cleaning my house (even closets) and doing laundry AND she took care of my baby all day while getting all the housework done (even got him to eat veggies!). Maybe one day I will be so efficient.
