give me something good to eat.If you don't, I don't care,
I'll pull down my underwear.
Hee! Laney read this in a book, and walked around saying it for a couple of days. I think she was even kind enough to teach it to our neighbor's little girl. She did say, "Now I told Brittany that it wasn't nice to say it when you're trick or treating. You can only say it while you're at home." Oh boy.
We had a great time on Halloween night. We went to Publix, since the nice check out lady had told them to come last week when we were there, and they had NOT forgotten. Mom and I needed to go anyway, and the kids actually had a blast. They decorated cookies, played games and got great treats. Who would have thought?
We came home and ate chili, and it was time to go! Allen loaded Laney and Jude in the wagon, and off they went. Zane was fine, until they came back, to drop off some candy, and he lost it when they left. He stood at the door, crying, "La La La La La La...." Mom said she was fine to hand out candy, so I stuck Zane in the wagon, and off we all went. It was such fun! Zane loved being in the wagon, and we went all over the neighborhood. There were tons of people, and it was like a neighborhood party.
The kids soon got good and tired, so Allen carried Zane and Laney and Jude jumped in the wagon, and we all headed home. They got tons of candy, which was to cause lots of trouble later!!!! It was a great Halloween!
