More than one way to heaven?

I heard a sermon on this topic this week. I've been thinking a lot about it.

John 14:6 (Amplified Bible)

"Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me


"The question is not 'why is there only one way to heaven?' The question is 'Why is there any way at all?'

Why only one way? I'm convinced that if there were 1,000 ways to heaven, we'd want 1,001. The issue is not how many ways there are to heaven, the issue is our autonomy and our pride that says we need to make our own way to God..."
